Weight by Design

Weight by Design is a weight management program designed the way your doctor would recommend. Lose 10% of your body weight and more, lower your blood pressure and cholesterol, reduce your risk for heart disease and diabetes. Led by Health Design Nurses and Dietitians, this is a 17-week program taught in groups of 12 participants to help you manage your weight for the long term. Possibility of reimbursement by your insurance company.

In this action packed and fun 8-week class, teens learn how to make healthy food choices, develop an exercise program for optimum results, deal with social pressures to eat, and how to stay motivated. 45 minute discussion & 45 minutes of exercise. Parents are invited to attend select sessions. Facilitated by a Health Design Nurse, your teen will be in compassionate and competent hands.

You will receive nutrition education, behavior modification, and walking sessions with a Health Design Nurse. Daily food diaries and the Cooper Clinic Solution to the Diet Revolution book are included.

When you’re trying to lose or gain weight, a few hundred calories can make a big difference. The MAP program calculates your resting metabolic rate and charts your optimal caloric intake and exercise level to reach your goals. Includes personalized nutritional analysis, and consultation to help you jump-start your weight management efforts.
